When playing Batman Arkham Asylum occasionally my character would just stop and start walking in a random direction for 2 seconds and yes my controller batteries are full and it still happens. My controller is a sixaxis only and my ps3 is a 20gb.

As soon as i got my ps3, which i believe was Christmas 2008, my ps3 always turned off by its self when i was playing a game. One day by chance, i brought my ps3 upstairs, accidentally put it upside down, and found it worked perfectly. Why would it only work like that?
