I switched over to PS3 from Xbox. Cause of money. PS3 is a blu-ray player. Blu-Ray players cost around $200-$250. PS3 is $300, so your buying a blu-ray player plus a game console. Built in Wi-Fi is really good. Xbox 360 you have to pay like $90 to get one. HDMI is doesn’t even have DVD out, its all blu-ray. blu-ray disc hold like 20GB of stuff while DVD not so much. Blu-Ray had scratch resistant coating, no SCRATCHES. Only thing I don’t like is the analog sticks. I wish they were concave.

360 doesn’t have more games. the entire list may be a little longer but the list of actual good ps3 games kills the 360. id go with ps3

a) blu ray is generally looked at as being better because blu rays support a resolution of 1080p and that is why most home theatre buffs would go for blu ray.

b) a real home theatre buff would go for a good stand alone blu ray player not the slow as hell ps3 blu ray

c) xbox live can be a monthly fee or a yearly fee. $50 a year for xbox lives superior features and stability is nothing. If you can afford these consoles, you can afford the price of a game once a year for online features.

i own both, i dont play the PS3 at all and rarely play the XBOX 360. I play PC games, i can’t play games on the ps3, too many of them run like crap and look awful, even MGS4 although i do use the ps3 as a blu/upscaling DVD player which it does both great. i think that getting a PC is a better deal, you can build a gaming computer for around $700 which can play all the games available and also can serve as your need for a computer. i would play the ps3 more, if more games were like uncharted 2

ps3 players are growing now a lot
they have and going to have better games than xbox
like uncharted 2, kingdom of hearts 2, god of war, kill zone and a lot more
the only games i like from xbox games is gears of war, and left for dead

One thing, how can the 360 have better games when like 97% of all games that hit the 360/PS3, are for the other console as well, unless it’s Halo of course.

Killzone 2, while the best looking shooter on the PS3 is the Sony flavor of the month. It seems Sony is so obviously desperate to find a shooter than can destroy Halo that they are funding shooter, after shooter, after shooter. Mag is next with and not even that will trump Halo. Your opinion is your opinion and results are results. Halo 3 ODST just made more match types to the already wealthy and innovative console style of Halo. Simply put, Halo is the definitive console shooter.
