I just started playing my ps3 again and it worked!
Here I am comparing the PS3 Slim to a newer model 80GB Playstation 3. I ran both consoles for 2 hours each and separately too, not simultaneously. I wanted to make sure the room would cool down to the same temperature before starting up the next system.
I’m interested in getting a ps3 for it’s games and blu ray player. I just bought a new samsung 50inch plasma that I think would look really nice with a hi def movie player like that one. Thanks for the help!

My friend’s sister has no job, and all she does is play on her ps3 for about 10-12 hours a day. She won’t job hunt and is stuck in a rut but she won’t listen to us. If anyone can help us disable the ps3 without breaking it so she can’t play it, and get off her ass that would be awesome.

Im having trouble with sharing my media with my ps3 with my computer. Is the ps3 even compatible with windows vista like the xbox 360 is. Because the xbox 360 can detect a windows media player library from windows vista so can ps3 do the same?
I’m thinking about getting a used PS3 from Gamestop.
Do used PS3 come with a controller?
And does it come with other accesories?
Is it that some do and some don’t?
If anyone can give me a list of accessories that they KNOW would come with a used PS3, that would be awesome.
